Hi Folks,

We've been off the air for a while because the board has not had any official functions on which to report.  However, Al, Karen and I have been busy.  We've met three times so far in order to get ourselves organized and get that "same sheet of music" written.  We've worked out our assignments for liaison with various board-appointed committees and other groups.  In addition, we've organized our agenda and are ready to go to work.

On Friday, June 25, the Board of Directors will hold its annual organization meeting at 8:00 AM in Pinckney Hall.  The purpose will be to seat Karen Pacifico and myself and to elect officers for the upcoming year.  I don't expect us to conduct any routine business although there should be an opportunity to ask questions after adjournment as is the usual custom.  The meeting will be video taped for rebroadcast at a later date to be announced.

We're currently planning to meet in workshop format following the organization meeting and, of course, we'll report what occurs in that workshop.
