Hi Folks,

 

This coming Monday, February 6, applications for residents desiring to be nominated for the Sun City Community Association Board of Directors election, to be held in May, will become available.  It is probably not much of a secret, but I will not apply for nomination for another term.

 

It has been a privilege to serve you as a board member for four years and, of course, I will continue to serve until my term ends in June.  However, I feel that four years is enough and that it is time for new ideas and new energy at this important point in the development of our community.

 

Since I am not involved in either the nomination process nor the election process, I do not feel constrained regarding providing my personal endorsement to candidates that I feel are highly qualified and will serve the community well.  I plan to do that at the appropriate time in the campaign.
