Board Update #146 [2006/06/30]
New Pulte General Manager - Jon Cherry
Please join your
Resident Board Members in welcoming Jon Cherry to our community. Jon has been appointed as Pulte Homes,
Inc., Vice President of Operations, South Carolina Division. Although it is uncertain whether he will
remain as the senior Pulte executive in our community or be responsible for
Pulte’s new developments in Charleston, he will be acting General Manager of
Sun City Hilton Head until that decision has been made.
Jon comes to us
from Ryan Homes, Inc., where he most recently served as Division Manager,
Cleveland Ohio. Prior to that
position, he held a variety of positions with Ryan Homes including Project
Manager, Sales Associate, Special Assignments Manager, and General Manager.
Jon received his
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Grove City College,
Grove City, PA. He and his
wife Annmarie have three children, ages 4-9, and look forward to their
relocation to South Carolina’s Lowcountry.
We are very excited
to welcome Jon and hope all of us will be the beneficiaries of his experience
for some time to come.
