Board of Directors to Interview Candidates For Vacant Board Position

After resolving a series of scheduling conflicts the Board of Directors has set Monday October 20^th as the date of the interviews of candidates for the vacant Resident Director position on the Board of Directors.  The four resident candidates for the position have submitted background information to the Board during the recruitment period.  According to Derek Morgan, President of the Board, each of the candidates will be interviewed by all the directors.

Resident Director Barbara Lenta is coordinating efforts to bring the search to a fruitful ending.  The Board will announce the results of the selection process to the community at its next Quarterly Meeting on October 23^rd as its first item of new business.

The successful candidate will serve a term expiring on May 31, 2009.  The new Resident Director may extend the term of service by gaining election in the next regularly scheduled Board of Director elections on May 12, 2009.

Board Also Fills Committee Positions

More residents have applied for vacant committee positions than there are openings! Another Agenda item of new business at the Board of Directors Quarterly meeting on October 23, 2008, will be the appointment of residents to various Board Committees. 

The long process of recruitment has recently ended with the completion of interviews by the Board Committees.  The Committees have compiled the results of the interviews and have forward them to the Board.
