“Viva Europa” – Follies 2009 opens Sep. 10, and will run through Sep. 12

You will take your audience on a journey through the following countries:  Denmark, England, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland.  Your comic skits or dance auditions should encompass one of the countries.

   Those auditions will be held May 3^rd from noon – 3 pm.  Choreographer, Judi Rosica will then work with dancers based on their acts from 3 – 4 pm to finalize which group(s) will be best for the Can Can, etc.   May 5^th is the audition date for musical acts; and those audition times are from 6 – 10 pm.  All those auditioning should bring their CDs of music.
    Due to the number of potential acts at this point, it is suggested that groups only perform once.  Keep in mind, there will  be a big  opening number  –  “Come

Fly with Me” which will involve many dancers, singers, and others with movement on stage.  This will count as a second appearance.  If an individual from a group wants to perform a solo or be involved in another group’s activity; that is permissible.  However, no more than 3 appearances can be made by any individual.
