Things You Should Know

In just over three weeks Sun City Hilton Head will be celebrating its 10^th Year Anniversary.  Please place Friday, October 21, 2005 on your calendar. The celebration begins at  3:00 pm in Town Center.

An exciting late afternoon and early evening series of events has been planned for this special celebration.  The program consists of the following:

Fri., October 21, Town Center

3 pm                Parade

                        -golf carts, antique autos, motorcycles*

                        -color guard, Marine Band

4 pm                Opening ceremony

4:05 pm            Fly-over

                        Color guard

                        Pledge of Allegiance

                        National Anthem

                        Invocation

4:20 pm            Introductions

                        Barrel Landing Club recognition

4:35 pm            Welcome

                        Golf cart prizes awarded

                        Anniversary quilt presentation

                        Symbolic tree planting

                        Time capsule

                        Symbolic anniversary cake

                        Closing remarks

5 pm                Marine Band concert

5:30 pm            Variety show

   activity desk, must be submitted by Oct. 15.
