A standing committee
responsible for 
1) implementation of those Board-adopted recommendations of the prior Government and Business Affairs Task Force; 2) acting as the Association's liaison to government and business entities and enhancing the Association's visibility in those important areas; 3) achieving committee participation, by assignments to committee members, in meetings of Jasper and Beaufort County Council, as well as other selected governmental committees, agencies, advisory groups, boards, and commissions; and 4) providing liaison to selected officials of municipal governments and maintaining a regular presence in business forums affecting the Association
