• Revised July 2, 2009: The data are gathered from the Register of Deeds at the Beaufort Co web site and the online Register of Deeds for Jasper County. Some data from Association records were used to fix the cummulative data for the end of 2001.
• "DoBVN" is short for "Duke of Beaufort Village Neighborhood." The recorded designations for Neighborhoods incorporated into the Association before Hampton Village Neighborhood had those words with a (usually) numeric identifier appended. The first was Duke of Beaufort Village Neighborhood 3, known colloquially as Coastal Villas.
• There are errors in the data below. Lots of reasons: misfiling at the RoD office; double filing; outright errors on my part. They amount to perhaps 20 errors over the span of the details starting in 2002.
• Speaking of errors, Cypress Hollow is listed below as a separate Neighborhood. And it, in fact, is not filed as part of Hidden Cypress. The developer intended to merge the two, but never got it done. A similar mistake was made for DoBVN 8D Block 1 and BoBVN 8D Block 2; they were never properly merged.
• The column marked "Executed in ....." show the number of conveyances in the subject year that were closed the year before; there is a lag between that event and the appearance of the deed at the RoD office.
• As Lots in model home parks were incorporated into the Association, they were just added to DoBV 6, Okatie Village. When that was done for the most recent park, near Palmetto Commons, the filing was mishandled and a new neighborhood, Neighborhood 6, was actually created. It is just noted as DoBVN 6.
• Added July 2, 2009: The part of our development in Jasper County has historically been known as Argent 2 or Argent II.
• Added July 3, 2009: Supplemental Declarations are recorded to subject additional property to the Governing Documents, or more informally, to incorporate additional property into the Association. Prior to July 1, 2009 the plats identifying such property were named so as to include the Neighborhood designation as well as a block identifier (usually but not always a simple number). The Neighborhood designation is given in the Supplemental Declaration. The first few plats used for this purpose in Argent 2 attach a name to the block that is different from the Neighborhood designation. For example, block 15, in which the first recorded conveyance occurred is identified on the plat and in the deeds as Whispering Oaks; whereas the Neighborhood designation stated in the Supplemental Declaration is Reflections.

• The first Membership in Argent II, block 4, known as Rivergrass, occurred September 4 at Lot 543.

• The number of lots conveyed was 10.

• The first Membership in Argent II, block 3, known as Foxlake, occurred August 6 at Lot 100.

• The number of lots conveyed was 2.

• The first Membership in Argent II, block 15, known as Whispering Oaks, occurred July 2 at Lot 301.

• The first Membership in the Neighborhood designated as Reflections occurred July 2 at Lot 301.

• The number of lots conveyed was 11.

• Property identified on the plat named Whispering Oaks, Block 15, was subjected to the Governing Documents on June 15 by virtue of a Supplemental Declaration filed with the Jasper County Register of Deeds.. This was an amendment to the previous such transaction on Jan 14, to reference a slightly revised plat.

• The number of lots conveyed was 3.

• The number of lots conveyed was 6.

• The number of lots conveyed was 5.

These Blocks are in the Neighborhoods: Holly Hill (blk 70), Orion Place (blk 74), Seaford Place (blk 2), Juniper Creek (blk 1), Spring Hill (blk 78), Crescent Creek (blk 76), Garden Walk (blk 81, 82, 83), Pine Lakes (blk 38), Sapphire Lakes (blk 42 - erroneously recorded as 2, 48), Hampton Village (blk 22), Heritage Oak Place (blk 86), Summerplace Village (blk 87), Bull Hill Plantation (blk 79).

• The number of lots conveyed was 43.

• The number of lots conveyed was 33.

• The number of lots conveyed was 20.

• The number of lots conveyed was 26.

• The fifth amendment to the Amended and Restated Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Sun City Hilton Head, was filed at the Register of Deeds for Beaufort County, SC on July 14, 2008. See this page.

Seaford Place is the Neighborhood between the Sgt William Jasper bridge (over US 278) and Okatie Crossing;  the Lots therein are Villas. Juniper Creek is the Neighborhood between Technical College of the Low Country and the Sgt William Jasper bridge (over US 278).

• The number of lots conveyed was 119.

• No new Neighborhoods were incorporated into the Association.

• The number of lots conveyed was 105.

• The Hidden Cypress Golf Course was conveyed to the Association on Mar 29, 2006.

• The number of lots conveyed was 50.

• A large amount of common property, mostly roadways, was conveyed to the Association on Mar 29, 2006. The Neighborhoods involved were: Pine Lakes, Hidden Cypress, Eagle's Landing, Deer Haven, Oak Woods, and Hummingbird Haven.
