Resident Communication Committee

Policy No. 9806.1

 

            WHEREAS, Section 5.1 of the By-Laws of the Sun City Hilton Head Community Association, Inc. empowers the Board of Directors (“Board”) to appoint committees of the Board; and

 

            WHEREAS, the Board desires to appoint a communication committee to assist in timely communications by the Board with Homeowners and Residents;

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the communication committee shall consist of the following persons:

 

Community Association Representative

E. J. Ewing

 

Resident Members

Gayle Green

Don Harmony

Jerri Kurowski

Bob Rasmussen

Ed Wiler

 

 

            AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Gayle Green shall serve as chairman of the communication committee;

 

            AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the communication committee shall meet at least once each month at the beginning of each month to prepare the communication committee’s column in the SunSations community newsletter and at such other times as the chairman calls meetings;

 

            AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the chairman shall give all members of the communication committee reasonable notice of a meeting.  Such notice may be made in person, by telephone, by mail, or by e-mail, and quorum for such meetings shall be a majority of the members of the committee;

 

            AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the members of the committee shall serve two-year terms or until their successors are appointed by the Board unless they are earlier removed by a vote of a majority of the directors;

 

            AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the communication committee shall assist in timely communication by the Board with Homeowners and Residents and in preparation of a monthly column in the SunSations community newsletter.
