BROADCAST COMMITTEE REPORT
RCC MEETING on February 15, 2006

NEW EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION

            Timing determined by equipment arrival – not all here yet

                        Bob Rasmussen and Rich de Asla will help

            All channels off the air for minimum 2 weeks

                        Richard checking with Davidson re screen announcement

                        TYSK Announcement to Community

                        Channel 50 & 51 Announcements if time

            Broadcast Crew will tape any weekly shows with outside interviewees

            Danger Cart being built by Richard & Ryan to facilitate live set-ups

CHANNEL 50

            SCCT Pilot Program

                        Mini-productions copyright/royalty issues cleared - taped Feb. 9

                        Show in March along with Sunny Awards

            New Weekly Program on Thursdays with Jim McGrath on Entertainment

                        Starts March 16 at 6:00pm

            Live broadcast of Web Sit Launch on March 9

            ICC Web Site Overview broadcast leading up to launch

            Submitted Video Request Form to CAM for Approval – 02/07/06

Richard and I have worked out new temporary schedule process – Bruce to spend more time on production

            Started using Program Data Sheet to develop programming library

            Gene Bigelow – Head Group Administrator for Channel 50 Web Site

CHANNEL 51

            Now under Judy Barry’s leadership

                        Updated Volunteer Guidelines completed

                        Updated Approved List of Users in progress

            User Guidelines developed and distributed through ICC List Server

            TYSK only step remains in Marketing Plan to regain users/viewers

            Dan McGuire – Head Group Administrator for Channel 51 Web Site

            Regulars now have personal key to cabinet

VOLUNTEER RECRUITING

            SunSations and Channel 51 requests on going

            2 new volunteers – one for broadcast crew, another for web site TV listing

            Recruiting video is no where

            Community recognition is working – unsolicited newspaper mention

WORK IN PROGRESS

            Goals & Priorities – Special Feb. 20 Meeting due to low Jan. attendance

            TV Listing on Web Site – tied up with library & scheduling – Feb. 17 Meeting

            Annual Calendar being developed

FUTURE

            IMPORTANCE of hardwiring Magnolia Hall and Argent Lakes for broadcast

            5 year needs for planning process

                        Analog to Digital

                        Another cable provider

                        Hardwiring to compliment Danger Cart in Pinckney & Hidden Cypress
