So, will there be a cover for the pool at Hidden Cypress Golf Club and Recreation Center?

[Note: the following  information was passed along by the Fitness Advisory Committee--Ed.]

Ken Hull attended the May 17, meeting of the Fitness Advisory Committee and offered the following regarding the Argent lll pool.

• The pool area itself will be approximately 5,000 square feet in size. (The existing indoor pool is approximately 3600 square feet)
• The pool will have 4 lap lanes as well as areas for light swimming and socializing.
• After extensive research it was determined that a winter cover or enclosure for the pool will not be provided. There is just no way to provide this feature and have it aesthetically acceptable, within a reasonable budget and current pool design compatible. Committee members made suggestions regarding methods to provide some form of protected (from the cold) walkway or other means to get into a sheltered area. Ken said that this would be looked into.
