What does the construction across from the 278 entry mean regarding the Del Webb property in Jasper County (Argent II)?

[Note:  Argent II is the property owned by Pulte in Jasper County. The original planning for Sun City Hilton Head involved four large areas, or tracts: Argent I, Argent II, Argent III, and the Sanders Tract. Argent I is the original development plus roughly 90 acres in Beaufort Co north of Rte 278. Roughly 40 acres of that was recently sold for the Technical College of the Lowcounty. Argent III is the area south of Argent I, which is currently under development. The Sanders Tract is Riverbend. The extension of Sgt William Jasper Blvd over Rte 278 begins in Argent I and runs through Argent II, ending at the entry to Riverbend at Rte 170. --Ed.]

Rob Smith, Pulte VP of Land Development for Sun City Hilton Head, provides the following as a clarification of the recent Things You Should Know (to view that in a pop-up, click here):

The TYSK was issued as a safety advisory.

The work will build an access road to Argent II from Rte 278 with accompanying infrastructure, such as a small lagoon and utilities. The median cut and entrances will be reconfigured to resemble the configuration at Simonsville Rd & Rte 278. Acceleration and deceleration lanes will be built for west-bound entry to and exit from Argent II.

No further land development work is planned for Argent II at this time.
